Winter School and Workshop on Polytopes 2025
taking place at the University of Osnabrück on February 24-28, 2025.
The event consists of a 2-day winter school (February 24 and 25) and a 3-day workshop (February 26 – 28).
The school consists of three minicourses (three hours each) on general polytopes (by Vincent Pilaud, Universitat de Barcelona), lattice polytopes (by Katharina Jochemko, KTH Stockholm) and probabilistic aspects of polytopes (by Florian Besau, TU Wien). Invited speakers of the workshop are
* Sophie Huiberts (LIMOS, Clermont Auvergne University)
* Kolja Knauer (Universitat de Barcelona)
* Chiara Meroni (ETH Zürich)
* Benjamil Nill (OvGU Magdeburg)
* Peter Pivovarov (University of Missouri)
* Vladislav Vysotskiy (University of Sussex)
There will also be nine 25-minutes talks and a poster session. We invite everybody to present a poster and apply for these talks (when completing the registration).
There is some funding available for young participants. The deadline to apply for funding and a talk (or poster) is December 31, 2024. Please refer to our website
