[DMANET] Joint CFP for Workshop Papers at ACM/IFIP Middleware 2024

Dear Middleware researchers,

We invite submissions for four workshops to be held alongside the ACM Middleware 2024 conference, taking place from December 2 to 6 at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. The workshops will explore cutting-edge topics in middleware technology, including container management, digital twins, computing continuum, and serverless computing. We welcome contributions from researchers and practitioners presenting novel ideas, tools, techniques, and experiences.

Important Dates:

* Workshop paper submission: September 25, 2024
* Workshop paper notification: October 20, 2024
* Workshop camera-ready submission: October 27, 2024

Papers should be no longer than six pages (including references) in the standard ACM format. One author of each accepted paper must register fully for the conference. Accepted papers will feature in the ACM Middleware companion proceedings and be accessible in the ACM Digital Library.

We look forward to receiving your submissions and engaging in vibrant discussions on the latest advancements in middleware technologies.

10th International Workshop on Serverless Computing (WoSC10)
This workshop invites contributions on Serverless Computing, focusing on integration with Kubernetes and exploration in hybrid cloud, edge, and IoT environments. Submissions may include research and experience papers, demonstrations, and live presentations. The workshop will address topics like serverless applications in DevOps, Platform Engineering, and the use of generative AI technologies such as Large Language Models. Held in a hybrid format, the event aims to discuss resource optimization, scaling, and other challenges in next-gen computing.

10th International Workshop on Container Technologies and Container Clouds (WoC)
The workshop invites submissions focused on addressing the challenges and solutions associated with running containerized workloads in clustered environments. It solicits contributions from academia and industry that explore topics like scalability, performance, security, and high availability of container management systems. Specific areas of interest include container use cases in machine learning (MLOps), multi-host network architectures, orchestration models, migration of traditional workloads, as well as the of containers in HPC, Big Data, and IoT applications. Comparative studies with other virtualization technologies and innovative solutions to operational challenges are also welcomed.
