[DMANET] JuliaCon Local Paris 2025 - deadline extension, keynotes and tickets

Dear colleagues,

JuliaCon Local Paris 2025 (https://juliacon.org/local/paris2025/) is taking place on October 2nd and 3rd at CNAM, in Paris. It is an international conference dedicated to open-source software, with topics ranging from scientific computing to machine learning and optimization. Students, researchers and engineers are all welcome to submit proposals and attend the event.

Deadline extension
The call for contributions has been extended to May 30th. Proposals can be tutorials (1h), talks (30 min), lightning talks (10 min) or posters, in English or in French.

Keynotes
We are pleased to announce three confirmed plenary speakers:

* Laura Grigori<https://people.epfl.ch/laura.grigori>, Full Professor at EPFL<https://www.epfl.ch/en/>. She is a world-class expert on numerical linear algebra and high-performance computing.
* Ivet Galabova<https://www.linkedin.com/in/ivet-galabova/>, Development and Integration Manager at HiGHS<https://highs.dev/>. She is one of the brains behind a leading open-source optimization solver.
* Tim Besard<https://www.linkedin.com/in/tim-besard-6b766031/>, Software engineer at JuliaHub<https://juliahub.com/>. He works on compiler technology and is an architect of the GPU ecosystem in Julia.
