Open position at HEC Liège

Dear all,
HEC Liège – Management School of the University of Liège (Belgium) is inviting applications for a Teaching and Research Assistant position in the field of Operations Research. This assistant position consists of a PhD research and contributing to teaching activities. The PhD is supervised by Professors Morgane Dumont and Élise Vandomme. Their research interests lie in applying combinatorial optimization and discrete mathematics to address complex societal challenges.
The appointed candidate is expected to:
- Conduct research leading to a doctoral thesis in management sciences, specializing in operations research;
- Successfully complete the doctoral training program;
- Engage actively in the scientific work of the QuantOM research team (Quantitative methods and Operations Management), part of the strategic field "Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management";
- Contribute to teaching activities, including the supervision of exercise sessions in operations research and math-oriented courses (e.g., forecasting, simulations). Teaching is conducted in French and/or English.
