AlgoEarth will be held at University of Cologne, Cologne, Germany.
https://imfess.uni-koeln.de/algoearth/events/kick-off
The main objective of this workshop is to bring together researchers
from Computer Science (Algorithm Design, Machine Learning) and
Geosciences (Earth Observations) that are interested in
interdisciplinary research on the algorithmic and machine learning
challenges arising from new earth observation systems such as
satellites, etc. to exploit their full potential for modelling and
analyzing the earth system, in particular, for weather and climate
prediction. One of the main challenges in dealing with the next
generation of earth observations is to handle the large amount of data.
With this call we invite proposals for short (5 minute) contributed
talks and/or posters. The most appreciated presentations adress a
general audience and possible chances for future interdisciplinary
research.
The results may have been presented at other events and the workshop
has no proceedings. Submissions can
be made through the workshop webpage
https://imfess.uni-koeln.de/algoearth/events/kick-off
Important dates:
Submission deadline: July 31st (talks) and September 15th (posters)
Notification: End of August (talks) and end of September (posters)
Best regards,
the AlgoEarth Team
