This is a 15% appointment, running from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026. The position involves temporarily replacing instruction in several course units, amounting to a total of 9 ECTS credits. Some of the course content is predetermined, while one course unit offers flexibility to align with the candidate's research expertise.
The assignment includes the following courses:
Applied Linear Algebra (3 ECTS, Bachelor Year 1): a service course for students in Chemistry and Biochemistry during the first semester. You will deliver six 2-hour theory lectures to a large student group. Course materials are available.
Hilbert Spaces and Fourier Transforms (part of a 6 ECTS course, with 3 ECTS under your responsibility, Bachelor Year 3, Mathematics): you will provide six 2-hour theory lectures. Course materials are available.
Applications of Differential Equations (part of a 6 ECTS course, Master's in Financial and Applied Mathematics): you will teach six 2-hour theory lectures and lead six 2-hour exercise sessions. This component can be tailored to include applications of differential equations, depending on the candidate's research experience.
