[DMANET] YEP XV: “Information diffusion on random graphs”, Eindhoven, March 25 – 29 2019

Dear colleagues,
We are happy to announce the workshop YEP XV: "Information diffusion on random graphs", to be held at Eurandom, Eindhoven, on March 25 – 29 2019. You can find all information regarding the workshop at website: "Information diffusion on random graphs"<https://www.eurandom.tue.nl/event/yep-xv-information-diffusion-on-random-networks/>
Description of the workshop: This YEP workshop focuses diffusion processes on networks, which manifest themselves in many real-life scenarios, such as epidemic spreading, viral marketing and power blackouts. The phenomenon of information diffusion recently attracted vast attention across a wide range of research fields, including mathematics, physics, computer science, and social sciences. Therefore, this YEP will focus not only on purely probabilistic aspects, but also take an algorithmic and application perspective. The aim of the workshop is to bring together junior and senior researchers from probability and from other fields, and to bridge the corresponding scientific communities.
The workshop will have three mini courses by Frank Ball, Mia Deijfen and Renaud Lambiotte. Other than that, the workshop will consist of invited talks as well as contributed talks.
Abstract submission: If you would like to apply a contributed talk, you can submit your abstract during registration.
Registration: You are encouraged to register early. To register, please visit the conference website: "Information diffusion on random graphs"<https://www.eurandom.tue.nl/event/yep-xv-information-diffusion-on-random-networks/>.
Funding: For this workshop, we have some budget to cover accommodation expenses, especially for young participants with limited resources. For more information, see the website<https://www.eurandom.tue.nl/event/yep-xv-information-diffusion-on-random-networks/>.
With kind regards,
Remco van der Hofstad, Nelly Litvak, Clara Stegehuis
