[DMANET] assistant professorship in Computational Precision Medicine

ASSISTANT PROFESSORSHIP IN COMPUTATIONAL PRECISION MEDICINE

A CS assistant professorship position in computational precision medicine
is available at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (IMADA),
University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Odense, Denmark. It is part of a
larger strategic investment in computational precision medicine at SDU.
It is expected that the candidate will play a role in shaping the
educational profile of bioinformatics and computational biomedicine at SDU.

We are in particular looking for candidates with a strong expertise in
fostering precision medicine by means of
- tool and software development
- development of algorithms and statistical models
- multi-omics integration and systems biology.

Candidates for the position are expected to have a PhD degree and
considerable postdoctoral research experience. The assistant professorship
position is for a duration of three years. The department has an
exceptional track record in providing tenure for successful assistant
professors.
