[DMANET] Visiting Assistant Professor positions at the Statistics Department of UC3M (Madrid)

The Department of Statistics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is offering up to two full-time Visiting Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track) positions. Selected candidates will be expected to contribute to teaching Statistics related courses, either in English or Spanish, as well as to the Department's research lines. The expected start dates are September 1, 2019 or January 15, 2020.

UC3M adheres to the European Commission Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. Selection will be based on an assessment of the applicants cv valuing especially their research quality and fit to the Department. The Social Sciences Selection Committee, which will oversee the process, is composed of: Beatriz García Osma (President), Raquel Carrasco Perea (Secretary), Paloma Aguilar Fernández (member), José Niño Mora (Statistics Department Head), and a University employees representative.

Applicants should possess a PhD by the expected start date, as well as experience in the fields of Econometrics, Operations Research, Probability or Statistics.

The contract is for one year, annually renewable up to a maximum of three years.

Annual gross salary: 23,268 euros.
