[DMANET] CSGT2022 - 8th Czech-Slovak International Symposium on Graph Theory

8th Czech-Slovak International Symposium on Graph Theory,
Combinatorics, Algorithms and Applications
CSGT 2022

Dedicated to the memory of Robin Thomas

The symposium is organized by the Department of Applied Math of the
Charles University. It will take place in Prague. It is the eighth in a
series of symposia which started with the 1963 Smolenice meeting (further
issues of the symposium have been 1974 Prague, 1982 Prague,
1990 Prachatice, 1998 Prague, 2006 Prague and 2013 Kosice).

This year we will remember Robin Thomas, one of the most celebrated
Czech mathematicians. Robin graduated from Charles University in 1985,
received the Fulkerson Prize twice, was named the SIAM fellow and a fellow
of AMS. Being affiliated with Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta,
he has kept strong links with the Czech and Slovak graph theory
communities, e.g., delivered plenary lectures at the Conference of Czech
Mathematicians in 2002 and at the 6th CSGT in 2006.

The program of the symposium will be devoted (but not restricted) to
subjects in contemporary Combinatorics and Graph Theory involving also
relationships and applications in Algebra, Algorithms, Topology,
Probability and Statistic, Optimisation, Mathematical Logic, and
other fields.

The following speakers accepted our invitation and promised to deliver
plenary talks:

Maria Chudnovsky, Princeton University, U.S.A. (on-line talk)
Zdeněk Dvořák, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic
Ken-ichi Kawarabayashi, National Institute of Informatics, Japan
Dan Kral, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic
Jarik Nešetřil, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic
Edita Máčajová, Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia
Sang-il Oum, Institute for Basic Science and KAIST, Daejeon, South Korea
Prasad Tetali, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, U.S.A.
Nicolas Trotignon, ENS de Lyon, France
Laci Vegh, London School of Economics, United Kingdom
Paul Wollan, University of Rome "La Sapienza", Italy

The conference will be held physically in Prague.

Imnportant: Economy accommodation has been booked in student dorms in
walking distance from the conference venue. Whoever is interested
should write an email to csgt2022@kam.mff.cuni.cz till February 25,
2022.
