[DMANET] Summer school on Modern Trends in Combinatorial Optimization

Dear Colleagues,

we are delighted to announce the Bernoulli Center summer school "Modern Trends in Combinatorial Optimization".

Dates: July 18 - 22, 2022

Venue: Bernoulli Center in Lausanne, EPFL, Switzerland

Speakers:
Danupon Nanongkai (University of Copenhagen, MPI-INF Saarbrücken, and KTH)
Vera Traub (ETH Zürich)
Luca Trevisan (Bocconi University, Milano)
Santosh Vempala (Georgia Tech)

Motivated by diverse practical problem setups, Combinatorial Optimization has developed into a rich discipline at the intersection of mathematics and theoretical computer science. The area is deeply rooted in other fields such as combinatorics, convex geometry, computational complexity, or the geometry of numbers.

This Bernoulli Center summer school is intended for motivated graduate and postdoctoral students of mathematics or computer science. Leading experts teach modern trends and exciting recent results in Combinatorial Optimization.
