[DMANET] MARBLE 2023: The 4th International Conference on Mathematical Research for Blockchain Economy [Deadline Extension]

Call for Papers



MARBLE is a conference series which aims to provide a high-profile platform for mathematicians, computer scientists and economists from both academia and industry to present latest advances and innovations in key theories and models of blockchain. The first edition of the conference was held in Santorini in May 2019<http://marble2019.org/>, the second edition was online<https://www.marble-conference.org/marble2020> due to Covid-19, and the third edition was held in Vilamoura in July 2022<https://www.marble-conference.org/marble2022>.

Venue​

​The conference will be held in Mandarin Oriental, Knightsbridge, London between Tuesday 11 and Thursday, 13 July 2023.

Submission Guidelines​

Starting this year, MARBLE will adopt a double-anonymous reviewing policy, i.e., all submissions must be anonymized and may not contain any identifying information of the authors. Submitted papers must be original and contain work that has not been published before or is under review elsewhere.

​Accepted papers will be published by Springer Nature as part of the Springer Proceedings in Business and Economics<https://www.springer.com/series/11960> book series (SPBE). The conference will accept novel research papers, systemization of knowledge (SoK) or review papers and short papers. Full paper submissions of up to 16 pages and short paper submissions of up to 8 pages (including references) should be prepared according to the guidelines<https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines> and submitted through the Easychair conference submission system<https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=marble2023>.​

Authors of accepted papers will have the option to publish only a one-page abstract of the paper in the conference proceedings, along with a URL pointing to the full paper. Authors should guarantee the link to be reliable for at least two years. One-page abstracts will not be eligible for the best paper awards. ​

Special Issue​
Extended versions (>50% than proceedings) of selected papers will be invited for a Special Issue at the IET Blockchain<https://ietresearch.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/26341573> journal.

Best Paper Awards​
The program committee will decide upon a best paper award and a best student paper award.
