[DMANET] International Doctoral Program in Energy Efficient Production and Logistics

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

INTERNATIONAL DOCTORAL PROGRAM IN ENERGY EFFICIENT
PRODUCTION AND LOGISTICS 2010
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The NRW Graduate School of Energy Efficient Production and Logistics is
calling for applications to its international doctoral program starting
in fall of 2010. Outstanding academic records, strong theoretical
foundations and a commitment to empirical research are expected.

Applicants may apply for a maximum of three of the announced
dissertations topics, which can be found on the online platform
www.forschungsschule.de. Core topic is the mathematic-physical
description, analysis and optimization of industrial manufacturing
processes under energy efficiency and CO2 reduction aspects. The
research proposals are related to the following fields:

o Logistics
o Production
o Materials Engineering
o Modeling and Holistic Analysis
o Energetical Process Engineering

Deadline of application is *15 March 2010*. The selection process will
be carried out in April and May the same year. Successful candidates
will be informed by the beginning of June 2010. Doctoral researchers are
awarded a scholarship of 1.400€/month for 36 months.

The Graduate School of Energy Efficient Production and Logistics is a
collaborative initiative of the TU Dortmund University and the
Ruhr-University Bochum, funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and
Research of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).
