Faculty position in Industrial Engineering at Koc University

The Department of Industrial Engineering at Koc University invites
applications for a full-time faculty position starting in Fall 2013.
Candidates are expected to have a PhD in industrial engineering,
operations research, management sciences, financial engineering, or a
related field. We primarily seek outstanding individuals at the
Assistant Professor level but exceptional applications in all ranks
will be considered. Candidates are expected to have a strong
methodological background in stochastic modeling and/or optimization
and a high research potential demonstrated by a strong publication
record. We encourage candidates whose specializations will complement
the current teaching and research agenda of the department in the
areas of health care operations, sustainability, energy and financial
engineering.

Koc University is a private, nonprofit institution located on a new,
state-of-the-art campus in Rumelifeneri, Istanbul. The University is
supported by the Vehbi Koc Foundation, and is committed to the pursuit
of excellence in both teaching and research. The medium of instruction
