Several Postdoctoral fellowships in theoretical computer science are available in the PIMS Collaborative Research Group "Algorithmic Theory of Networks"
Areas of specific interest include but are not limited to randomized algorithms, sublinear
and streaming algorithms, data structures and their lower bounds, and algorithms related to communication networks, and distributed algorithms. The fellowships are for one year with a possibility of renewal for a second year.
The postdoctoral fellowships are offered by Profs. Petra Berenbrink (Simon Fraser University), Funda Ergun (Simon Fraser University), Valerie King (University of Victoria)
and Philipp Woelfel (University of Calgary). The annual stipend for PIMS
postdocs is no less than Cdn $40,000 (inclusive of benefits). Travel funds will
also be allocated. More information about PIMS is available at http://www.pims.math.ca.
Inquiries and applications including a curriculum vitae, a one page research statement and the names and contact information for at least two references should be forwarded to
pims.crg.alg@gmail.com
The application deadline is December 15, 2012. We will continue to accept applications until the posts are filled.
