One Postdoctoral Position in Discrete Mathematics at TU Graz

We are seeking outstanding candidates with strong background in
Discrete Mathematics, in particular, probabilistic combinatorics, random
graphs, and graph theory. The successful candidate will be employed as a
Universitätsassistent/in mit Doktorat for up to six years (a fulltime
research and teaching postdoctoral position) at the Institute of
Optimisation and Discrete Mathematics (Math B) at Technische Universität
Graz, Austria. The standard teaching load is 6 credit hours per semester
(1 credit hour = 45 min). The ability to teach in German would be
desirable. The preferred starting date is 1 January 2013 or 1 February
2013 .
The basic salary is specified in the Kollektivvertrag.

The salary group for Universitätsassistent/in mit Doktorat is B1
(Paragraph 49). There are extra salary payments, the so-called the 13th-
and 14th-month salaries which are favourably taxed.
