A PhD position is available at the Department of Informatics at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Bernard Ries (associate professor) on problems related to graph theory and combinatorial optimization. As a PhD student, the candidate also has to take some teaching responsabilities. The University of Fribourg is a bilingual university (german and french) and the candidate should master at least one of these languages as well as have a very good knowledge of english.
