[DMANET] WRAWN 2015 -- Kyoto, July 5 -- Call for participation and contributed talks

Call for contributed presentations & participation:

Sixth Workshop on Realistic models for Algorithms in Wireless Networks (WRAWN)
5 July 2015, Kyoto, Japan, co-located with ICALP 2015
http://wrawn.ru.is

The aim of the WRAWN workshop series is to study ways of capturing the
reality of wireless communication while maintaining both the
generality and feasibility of rigorous algorithmic development.

The theme of this year's WRAWN is dynamicity: Dealing with
unreliability and changes in networks.

The program will consist of three invited presentations, and a few
contributed talks.
WRAWN meetings are in the traditional style of workshops, without
standard conference-style presentations,
but more informal, interactive and explorative. Polemical arguments,
expositions, and speculative arguments
are welcome.

To propose a contributed talk, send a brief description to mmh@ru.is

Invited speakers:
Martin Hoefer, MPI Informatik:
No-Regret Learning in Dynamic Wireless Networks
Jaikumar Radhakrishnan, TIFR :
Communication lower bounds that are sensitive to distances
between processor
Tetsunori Hayashi, Kyoto University:
Channel estimation for multicarrier systems using compressed sensing

Workshop Organizers:
Magnus M. Halldorsson, Reykjavik University
Taisuke Izumi, Nagoya Institute of Technology

WRAWN Steering committee:
Magnus M. Halldorsson, Reykjavik University
David Peleg, Weizmann Institute
Roger Wattenhofer, ETH Zurich
