The Center for Embedded Systems and Cyber-Physical Systems (CECS), jointly with the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, anticipates the availability of an assistant project scientist position. The position involves performing research on algorithms with applications to networking, the Internet, and computer security and privacy, as well as analysis and visualization of software artifacts. A background in algorithm design and analysis would be desirable.
Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
Salary is commensurate with training and experience. The initial appointment will be for one year with extension to further years dependent in part on the availability of extra-mural funding.
