[DMANET] 4-year postdoc position in Optimisation/Data Mining at the University of Adelaide, Australia

has an open position for postdoctoral researcher working
within the Research Consortium

The research consortium brings together an interdisciplinary team of and the successful candidate will closely work with researchers from mining, mechanical and chemical engineering on industry driven research.

This is a fixed term research associate position (level A) for 4 years.
Salary is 85,307 – 91,425 AUD per annum (plus superannuation).

We are seeking an excellent candidate with a PhD in
computer science or a related field.
The successful applicant should carry out interdisciplinary work on optimisation and data mining.

Candidates having experiences in the field of evolutionary computation, mixed integer programming, and/or data mining are highly encouraged to apply.

Currently, around 20 researchers
from several nationalities work in the Optimisation and Logistics group.
The group collaborates with several of the major research
institutions in Europe and the U.S. and has high international visibility.
