CALL FOR COMPETITION PARTICIPATION
Five competitions are held as part of the 2018 Genetic and
Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO 2018). We have a number of
competitions ranging from different types of optimization problems to
games and industrial problems.

*** COMPETITION ENTRY ABSTRACTS ***
Following the success of the previous years poster format for Late
Breaking Abstracts, authors of the accepted competition entry abstract
will be asked by the respective competition organisers to prepare a
poster summarizing their contributions. Attendees will have the
opportunity to interact with authors and enjoy a dynamic forum to
share and spread scientific ideas. The details about the poster
preparation will be sent to the authors of accepted abstracts.
Two-page abstracts describing the competition entry in the field of
genetic and evolutionary computation are solicited for presentation at
the Competition Workshop of the 2018 Genetic and Evolutionary
Computation Conference (GECCO 2018), and for inclusion in the
proceedings conference companion, available to all attendees of the
conference and in the ACM Digital Library.
For example, the competition "Internet of Things: Online Anomaly
Detection for Drinking Water Quality" invites the submission of such
abstracts:
