Chile is offering two tenure and three non-tenure track assistant
professor positions, starting preferably during the second half of 2018.
Applications are encouraged from candidates whose research is related to
the mathematical areas cultivated at DIM (which include Combinatorics,
Theoretical Computer Science, and Optimization — see
www.dim.uchile.cl/research-areas for more details). DIM hopes to
increase diversity of its faculty, and particularly encourages female
candidates to apply.
Candidates are expected to present evidence of an outstanding research
record and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Duties include
a moderate teaching load at an undergraduate or graduate level. The
official language of teaching is Spanish.
