It is hard to believe but true: László (Laci) Lovász will turn seventy in
2018. His contributions to discrete mathematics and theory of algorithms
have been fundamental. He has connected combinatorics and theoretical
computer science with other areas of mathematics in many ways. To celebrate
Laci's birthday and his extraordinary achievements, the János Bolyai
Mathematical Society, the Eötvös University, and the Alfréd Rényi Institute
of Mathematics organize an international conference. Titled "Building
Bridges II", the meeting will be held in Budapest, Hungary, July 2 to 6,
2018. The scientific program will consist of invited lectures and poster
sessions.
