[DMANET] Doctoral position in combinatorics at La Trobe University, Bendigo, Australia

Fully funded PhD position in combinatorics in Australia
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have an opportunity for a candidate to work towards a PhD with Dr
Michael Payne at La Trobe University in Bendigo, Australia. The topic will
be in the field of combinatorics, particularly discrete geometry and/or
graph theory.

The position is open to both Australian and international applicants. It
comes with a living allowance of AUD 27,082 per annum (2018 rate) for a
maximum of 3.5 years, and fee relief for up to 4 years (so no course fees
are payable).

The successful applicant will have a master's degree in mathematics or
theoretical computer science (or bachelor's with first class honours),
including an excellent thesis or other evidence of prior research
experience, such as refereed publications.
