The research interests of the group are in integer programming,
combinatorial optimization, computational and discrete geometry,
geometry of numbers, and approximation algorithms.
The appointment is for 12 months. The earliest possible start date is
October 1, 2019.
The salary will be 7,000 Swiss Francs (currently $6,950 and €6,200) per
month.
The position can be renewed for one year.
The PostDoc position comes with teaching obligations. This either
means that the prospective holder of the position serves as a teaching
assistant or teaches one 2h-course per semester at the doctoral level.
