Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD position (TV-L 13) in Theoretical Computer Science at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Research duties will focus on the mathematical analysis of efficient approximation and online algorithms as well as randomized processes, in particular on scheduling problems and resource allocation in graphs. Candidates are expected to have an excellent background in theoretical computer science and/or discrete mathematics.
