Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you to contribute to the stream "Emergency management systems in
healthcare" we are organizing for the IFORS 2020 conference that will be held in Seoul,
Korea, (June 21-26, 2020, http://www.ifors2020.kr). The stream is part of the area OR in
Health, Medicine and Life Sciences.
The stream aims to provide an overview on new significant approaches and methods in the
field of the management of the emergency systems in healthcare. We welcome methods
including state-of-the-art OR techniques, as well as Hybrid OR & AI approaches.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Location problems for ambulances, bases and helicopters
- Ambulance dispatching and relocation
- Staffing models and personnel scheduling
- Forecasting emergency call volumes in time and space
- Emergency Department processes and overcrowding
- Disaster logistics and post-disaster management
