OPEN POSITIONS AT SKEMA BUSINESS SCHOOL
SKEMA is seeking applicants for several positions in artificial intelligence in/for business and management.
Rank: assistant, associate or full professor.
Starting date: September 2021.
Permanent full-time contract.
Salary and conditions are competitive, in line with international standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Hold:
- a PhD in artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, business analytics, computer science, engineering, machine learning or a related field; or
- a PhD in sociology, psychology, philosophy or related humanities.
Have promising research prospects, visible through ongoing submissions to high-level journals
- Do research in areas consistent with the specializations of current Faculty members
- Demonstrate initial teaching experience in the relevant disciplinary area
- Show awareness of teaching and learning innovation
- Committed to service in the institution
- Able to teach in English (knowledge of French, although not strictly required, would be appreciated - support in learning French will be offered)
- Be a team player with good communication skills, and a willingness to contribute to activities in the Academy and the Research Center
EXPECTATIONS
- Publish peer-reviewed publications in relevant top journals (according to the SKEMA journal ranking list)
- Teach at different levels in AI for business and management
- Supervise students at different levels (undergraduate, master…)
- Participate in the student selection process
- Be a good academic citizen / Commit to the life of the institution and contribute to projects related to the school strategy

RISE² (The Reflections and Research In International Strategy Sustainability Entrepreneurship and Economics), the Research Centre in Strategy, is a dynamic and fast-growing research group, whose purpose is to make a difference by generating critical world-class research on how to harness globalisation and digitalisation for a better world. Our members have expertise in a variety of macro and micro topics such as multinational strategy, leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, inter-firm collaboration, cultural distance, environmental sustainability, women in organizations, work-life balance, advanced warning signals, forecasting, digital manufacturing and blockchain, effectuation, economic growth, financial globalisation, anti-trust regulation. We organize regular research seminars on the three French campuses, host international workshops and welcome visiting researchers as well as practitioners.
