The Department of Mathematical Engineering (DIM) of the University
of Chile is opening 2 tenure track positions in Mathematics,
starting ideally during the second half of 2021. Priority will be
given to candidates whose research is related to the mathematical
areas present at DIM, which include Algorithms and Combinatorics.
Applications from all groups currently underrepresented in the
department's faculty are particularly encouraged. The department is
strongly committed to improving its present gender balance, and
particularly welcomes applications from women.
Candidates are expected to present evidence of an outstanding research
record and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Duties include
a moderate teaching load at an undergraduate or graduate level.
