[DMANET] Open Call: [Algorithms, MDPI] Special Issue on Optimal Transport: Algorithms and Applications

We are pleased to announce the launch of new Special Issue dedicated to
"Optimal Transport: Algorithms and Applications" in the journal
Algorithms, an *EI-*, *ESCI-*, and *Scopus-indexed* open access journal.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

* Fast optimal transport algorithms (for transport plans, distances,
barycenters etc.)

* Approximations of optimal transport, including regularizations,
embeddings, or complete reformulations of the problem
* Interactions between machine learning and optimal transport

* Unexpected or fruitful applications of optimal transport

Further information can be found at the Special Issue website:

The submission deadline is 31 March 2021. Papers will be published on
an ongoing basis, so you can submit your paper at any point before the
deadline. For any questions, please feel free to contact Ms. Alina Chen
(alina.chen@mdpi.com).

Algorithms (ISSN 1999-4893) is a peer-reviewed open access journal which
provides an advanced forum for studies related to algorithms and their
applications, and is Open Access since 2008, and is since then rising
steadily in the ranks
(https://www.journalindicators.com/indicators/journal/21100199795). It
is ranking Q2 in the category "Computer Science, Theory & Methods", and
it has received it's increased 2020 CiteScore 2.20, and CiteScoreTracker
2020 is 2.70 now (https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/21100199795).
