The Vienna School of Mathematics is a joint doctoral program of the
mathematics institutions of the University of Vienna and TU Wien. This
doctoral program intends to provide a top-level scientific training of
doctoral students in all fields of mathematics. The graduate school
aims at attracting excellent students from Europe and around the world
to Vienna and to guide them towards research at the forefront of
modern mathematics in an exciting and dynamic scientific environment
in Vienna.
The Vienna School of Mathematics invites applications for Ph.D. positions,
among others in combinatorics, discrete geometry, optimization, and
stochastics and probability theory. For application details see the
