The position is part of the FOCUS project "Graph Classes with Low Twinwidth Covers". We will investigate combinatorial and algorithmic aspects of the graph width parameter twinwidth and other questions from algorithmic graph structure theory.
The ideal candidate holds an excellent masters degree in mathematics or computer science. In addition, the successful candidate is highly motivated, passionate about their work, and has a good ability to work both independently as well as in a team. Good communication skills and solid English skills, both oral and in writing, are expected.
The position is a full-time position for 3 years, paid according to the Federal German Payment scale TV-L 13.
Doctoral students are required to teach 2SWS.
