Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Chile We are seeking to fill two
tenured/tenure-track faculty position at the Escuela de Ingeniería
Informática at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV),
Valparaíso, Chile. Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer Sciences (or
equivalent) or submit their doctoral thesis by June 30th, 2023. Preferred
research areas include, but are not limited to:

We seek dynamic colleagues who will positively contribute to the
Department's teaching, research, and service efforts. Candidates with
published articles in reputed ISI WoS-indexed journals are highly
preferred. Applications are particularly welcome from those willing to
commit to the spirit of the Department and the University's aspirations

with the candidate's experience and qualifications. The offered salary will
be competitive internationally and complemented with research incentives

The PUCV is currently ranked among the top 30 universities in Latin

regarding Research (According to Ranking THE 2022). The Escuela de
Ingeniería Informática currently offers three undergraduate programs
(Ingeniería Civil Informática, Ingeniería Civil en Ciencia de Datos, and
Ingeniería en Informática) as well as two postgraduate programs (Magíster
en Ingeniería Informática and The PUCV is located at the heart of the
Valparaíso metropolitan area, which was declared a World Heritage Site by
UNESCO and is considered among the world's great university cities. The
cities of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar stand out for their quality of life

Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), Chile. La Escuela de Ingeniería
Informática de la PUCV llama a concurso académico para llenar dos
posiciones como Profesor Asociado. Los candidatos deben poseer el grado de
Doctor en Informática (o equivalente) o haber sometido su tesis doctoral
antes del 30 de Junio de 2023. Idealmente, los candidatos deberán trabajar
en tema de investigación que estén relacionados, pero no limitados, a

deberán tener artículos publicados en revistas de prestigio indexadas ISI
WoS. La remuneración ofrecida es acorde al mercado y dependerá de la
experiencia y logros del candidato. La PUCV además ofrece un atractivo
sistema de incentivos a la investigación como complemento de la
remuneración ofrecida. La PUCV se encuentra entre las 30 mejores
universidades de Latino-América, cuarta a nivel nacional y segunda en
investigación a nivel nacional (de acuerdo al ranking THE 2022).
