Laboratory in Florence (Italy). The position is for "Optimization for a
Better World", with a required 6 months period at Verizon Connect Italy and
a 6 months period at Amsterdam University, in the research group of
Analytics for a Better World guided by prof. Dick den Hertog (during this
period the monthly salary is increased by 50%).
Interested candidates are expected to be experts in Analytics/Operations
Research, Optimization Modeling, Combinatorial and/or Continuous
optimization; part of the research will be associated with geographical
street map reconstruction from images and GPS tracks.
