[DMANET] EURO stream: Secure & Sustainable Food Supply

EURO stream: Secure & Sustainable Food Supply

Dear colleagues,

In the context of the 33rd European Conference on Operational Research (Euro, 30th June - 3rd July 2024, Copenhagen) we are organising a stream on Secure & Sustainable Food Supply:

Secure and sustainable food supply is one of the most pressing and challenging issues that humanity is facing. Operations research and data science can play an important role in addressing some of the underlying problems. Topics in this stream can range from macro scale such as humanitarian supply chain optimization, to micro scale such as reduction of household food waste. We welcome all methodology that contributes to enhancing secure and sustainable food supply.

Methods used can vary from supply chain modelling and diet modelling to machine learning and data analytics.

If you would want to present in our stream, kindly let us know so we can send you the invitation code required to submit an abstract. You can contact us via joke.vanlemmen@wur.nl<mailto:joke.vanlemmen@wur.nl> and m.balvert@tilburguniversity.edu<mailto:m.balvert@tilburguniversity.edu>.

Please feel free to forward this message to colleagues whose work would fit the stream.

Details on the conference can be found at
https://euro2024cph.dk/

Abstract submission closes Sunday, 3rd March 2024.

Kind regards,
