probabilistic combinatorics, supervised by Annika Heckel. Starting date 1
September 2024 (negotiable).
Uppsala is a university town with a strong group in combinatorics and
discrete probability, including Svante Janson, Cecilia Holmgren, Fiona
Skerman and usually several postdocs and PhD students. Good connections to
Stockholm and Stockholm airport (40 and 20 minutes by train, respectively).
PhD positions in Sweden usually last for 5 years and include 20% teaching,
the first year net salary is currently about 23 383 Swedish crowns (1788
pounds, 2095 Euros) per month.
