[DMANET] Ph.D. program at ESD pillar, Singapore University of Technology and Design

The Engineering Systems and Design<https://esd.sutd.edu.sg/> Pillar at the Singapore University of Technology and Design<https://www.sutd.edu.sg/> (SUTD) invites applications to its Ph.D. program. SUTD is the fourth autonomous and public university in Singapore, founded in 2009 in collaboration with MIT to create a leading university in design, engineering, technology, and architecture. The ESD Ph.D. program aims to produce the next generation of leading engineering systems researchers and thinkers.

The ESD faculty members specialize in the theory and practice of data-driven decision-making using analytical tools from optimization, statistics, stochastic modeling, game theory, economics, AI & ML. Candidates interested in these topics are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work on important applications including manufacturing and service operations, transportation and logistics, environment and sustainability, risk management, energy systems, telecommunication systems, financial systems, social networks, and, supply chains.

International candidates are also encouraged to explore the Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA), which offers competitive support for up to 4 years of studies.
