[DMANET] PhD Studentships: in Business Analytics/Operational Research

Award Summary
100% Home/International tuition fees waiver along with an annual stipend of £16,062.

Overview
Kent Business School is looking to award a total of three PhD studentships to highly motivated students. Two of the studentships are reserved for applicants in Business Analytics/Operational Research. The third studentship can be in any business subject (including Business Analytics/Operational Research).

The successful applicants for the Business Analytics/Operational Research studentships will be based in the Department of Analytics, Operations and Systems and enrolled into the PhD Business Analytics or PhD Operational Research programmes The department has internationally recognized expertise in mathematical optimisation, simulation, data science/analytics, operations management, information systems and Soft OR. Current research themes include applications in the areas of logistics, transportation, healthcare, sustainability, disaster management and reliability. Applicants are free to propose any PhD dissertation topic in Business Analytics or Operational Research that aligns with the knowledge and interests of their preferred supervisor. Candidates should normally have a good undergraduate and master's degree in business analytics, operational research, mathematics, computer science or related field.
