[DMANET] Special Issue on CEJOR (Deadline: 30 January 2023)

In conjunction with the International Conference on Science, Engineering Management and Information Technology 2022, the Central European Journal of Operations Research (CEJOR) will publish a Special Issue having the following deadline:

CEJOR is the official journal of the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Operations Research (https://www.springer.com/journal/10100 ). The journal offers high quality papers that cover the theory and practice of operations research and the relationship of operations research methods to modern quantitative economics and business administration.

Topics of Interest:

Technological changes have been dramatic in the last decades. Collaboration and coordination opportunities in transportation have become enormous. A systemic approach to problems and advanced analytical methods are even more vital than in the past. This Special Issue will focus on the recent trends in mobility of people and freight with particular attention to the aspects of sustainability and collaboration among the logistics actors. Original and high-quality papers dealing with theoretical, methodological and applications aspects of persons and freight transportation are most welcome. Topics of interest include, but not limited to:

Optimization methods for the transportation of persons and goods,
Collaborative transportation in logistics,
Shared customers in distribution networks,
Carrier assignment, auction bidding and profit sharing methods,
Collaborative vehicle routing and fleet management,
Sustainable solutions for the transportation of persons and goods,
Centralized and decentralized transportation planning,
Real-life applications in sustainable Transportation,
The role of data science, big data, data mining and knowledge management in transportation,
Transportation in uncertain environment and risk management,
Transportation in disaster conditions,
Real-life applications involving a collaborative context.

Scholars participating in the International Conference on Science, Engineering Management and Information Technology 2022 are invited to submit their unpublished papers to this special issue. Any other researcher interested in the topics of this call can submit his original paper as well. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor being currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers will follow the standard peer review process of CEJOR.

All papers must be submitted online through the Journal editorial manager and the maximum number of pages allowed is 25.
