[DMANET] 10% Assistant professor in Graph Theory and Combinatorial Algorithms, Ghent University (Belgium)

Applications are invited for a 10% Assistant professor in Graph Theory and Combinatorial Algorithms in the Department of Applied Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics at Ghent University (Belgium).

Candidates are expected
- to have already conducted eminent academic research in the given discipline and a special interest in and experience with structural graph theory are recommended,
- to have demonstrated the ability to initiate, to supervise and acquire research funding,
- to be didactically skilled to teach university students to develop academic competences.

The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research in the discipline of structural graph theory, to participate in the (on campus) teaching commitments of the department as a lecturer-in-charge and to take part in the internal and external service provision of the department.

The post is available from February 1 2023 and has a renewable duration for a maximum of 6 years. The deadline for applications to be received is 11th December 2022.
