[DMANET] PhD position in Operations Research @ HEC Lausanne with focus on Collaborative Game Theory

The Department of Operations at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne (HEC Lausanne) invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant in Operations Research with a special focus on Cooperative Game Theory applied to Supply Chain.

The successful candidate will work on the completion of a PhD thesis, the content of which will be related to the use of integer programming and combinatorial optimization techniques to enable horizontal collaboration in the supply chain.

Qualifications
==========

MSc, or equivalent university degree, in one of the following areas: Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related domains. Preference will be given to candidates with strong background in integer programming and/or combinatorial optimization.

Excellent English proficiency is required. A basic level (B1) in French at the time of hiring is also desirable.

Good programming skills in at least one programming language (C++, Java, C, Python, Julia, or alike).
