[DMANET] PhD Position in discrete mathematics at Umeå University

The Department of Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics at Umea University (Sweden) is seeking a PhD student in the area of heuristics for the Traveling Salesman problem. The expected starting date is spring 2023, or by agreement.

Very good command of the English language, good writing skills and ability to work both independently and in a team are required.
Furthermore, The candidate should have a good knowledge in discrete mathematics and combinatorial optimization as well as good programming skills.
