[DMANET] Postdoctoral Researcher position in Discrete Mathematics at Leipzig University

We are welcoming applications for a postdoctoral position under the supervision of Doctor James Davies, a junior research group leader within the Chair in Discrete Mathematics held by Alexander-von-Humboldt Professor Daniel Kral, at Leipzig University. The position is available from summer 2025 (the exact start date is flexible) with remuneration according to the scale E13 TV-L (full time). The initial appointment will be made for two years with a possible extension of one year.

We are looking for candidates who have recently finished or will soon finish their PhD with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

* Structural graph theory
* Geometric graph theory

The successful candidate will also be expected to interact with other members of the research group of Professor Daniel Kral (two additional postdocs and four PhD students at the time of summer 2025) and to look for potential collaboration opportunities with other groups based at Leipzig University and at Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences.
