We invite you to contribute to the *17th World Symposium on Algorithmic
Foundations of Robotics (WAFR)*, which will be held June 15-17, 2026 in
Oulu, Finland!
*About WAFR:*
WAFR is a biennial single-track multidisciplinary symposium of
international researchers presenting the latest advances on algorithmic
problems in robotics. Since its inception in 1994, WAFR has established
itself as a premier venue for algorithmic and mathematical work related to
robotics.
WAFR focuses on the design and analysis of robotic algorithms, as well as
on the mathematical foundations of the field. This focus gives rise to
challenging research questions that span many areas of robotics and
intersect with neighboring disciplines, such as optimization, game theory,
machine learning, combinatorics, and computational complexity.
The symposium proceedings will be published in the Springer Proceedings in
Advanced Robotics (SPAR) <https://www.springer.com/series/15556> series and
selected papers will be invited for publication in special issues of
relevant journals.
