Salary in the range GBP 38,849 - GBP 45,974 pa inclusive of London Allowance
Applications are invited from mathematicians with research interests
that are related to, or complement, current strengths of the department.
We are most interested in applicants who will be able to interact with
our pure mathematics or discrete mathematics groups (whose interests
include combinatorics, algebra and number theory). However, applications
from strong candidates working in other fields will also be given
serious consideration.
The Department currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees
in Mathematics and postgraduate qualifications in Information Security.
You should have a Ph.D. in a relevant subject, be a self-motivated
researcher, and have a strong publication record. You should be prepared
to teach a range of undergraduate courses according to departmental
needs.
