The School of Computer Science at The University of Adelaide invites applications for the position of Lecturer. We are seeking an individual with the ability to teach in a wide range of core computer science subjects.
Position Requirements
You should have:
• A Ph.D. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Strong teaching skills – including the ability to lecture and conduct tutorials effectively. Must have sufficient discipline knowledge in a number of areas within the teaching portfolio of the school.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English in accord with the normal duties of the position.
• Ability to contribute to world class research in an area of computer science.
• The ability to contribute to the software engineering programme is not essential but would be an advantage.
Salary
Salary: (Level B) $83,620 - $99,300 per annum. The successful applicant will be appointed at an appropriate level depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
Superannuation
Plus an employer superannuation contribution of 17% applies.
Term of Position
This continuing position is available from July 2013.
