The 35th International Symposium on Theoretical Aspects of Computer
Science (STACS 2018)
will be held from February 28 to March 3, 2018 (Wednesday afternoon
through Saturday morning),
on the Campus II of the University of Caen.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

is composed of 54 contributed and three invited talks as well as one
tutorial.
TUTORIAL
- Bruno Salvy (Lyon): Recursive combinatorial structures: enumeration,
probabilistic analysis and random generation
INVITED SPEAKERS
- Meena Mahajan (Chennai): Lower bound techniques for QBF proof systems
- Damien Pous (Lyon): Positive calculus of relations: on axiomatisations
and algorithms.
- Gerhard Woeginger (Aachen): The open shop scheduling problem
The tutorial is held on Wednesday afternoon, February 28, the invited
and contributed talks start on Thursday, March 1, at 09:00, and the
conference ends on Saturday, March 3, around 13:00.

REGISTRATION
Registration is via the conference website

Early registration fee (on or before January 31): 300 euros (250 euros
for students);
Late registration fee (after January 31 ): 350 euros (300 euros for
students).
The registration fees include
- the three lunches (Thursday, Friday, Saturday),
- the welcome reception on Wednesday in the Dôme (at Caen)
- the visit in the Caen Center on Thursday,
- the visit to the Bayeux Tapestry and the Banquet in the Chateau de
Creully on Friday.
