[DMANET] Postdoc and PhD positions in Paris

The Algorithms Groups at IBISC, University Paris-Saclay and LIP6, Sorbonne University invite applications for

PhD and Postdoc Positions in Algorithms.

The position for PhD is full-time three year and that for postdoc is full-time one year with possible extension. The starting dates are before September 2018 and can be negotiated. The Algorithms groups in IBISC and LIP6 provides a strong environment and offers many opportunities for collaborations/interaction with researchers in the Paris region, for example DI ENS and IRIF. Applicants should have curiosity and enthusiasm for mathematical problems and strong background in theoretical computer science, in particular in one of the following domains:

* Approximation/Online Algorithms
* Algorithmic Game Theory
* Online Convex Optimization/Machine Learning


All applications should include

* a cover letter describing the interest in the position,
* a detailed CV/resume
* List of publications (PostDocs), or list of courses and grades (PhD students)
* Two or more references.
