OVERVIEW
We are seeking candidates for a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship

The University of Campinas, Unicamp (www.unicamp.br/index.php/english),
Campinas, SP, Brazil. This fellowship is part of a Project, entitled
Logistics 4.0: technologies for flexible and eco-efficient logistics
funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (Fapesp). The project is a
collaboration between the University of Campinas (Brazil), University of
Porto (Portugal) and INESC TEC (Portugal).
GOALS
Development of exact solution methods for Dynamic Vehicle Routing
Problems with Uncertainty. Development of approximate, metaheuristics
and matheuristics algorithms to address larger instances of the
problem. Access the applicability of the developed methods in large
instances and in real-world instances based on a large European retail
company.
SPECIFICATIONS
The candidate must have a PhD in Computer Science, Operations
Research, Applied Mathematics or in a related field. The candidate
must have finished the PhD less than seven years before the beginning
of the PD fellowship. The candidate should demonstrate a solid
background in integer programming, heuristics and
meta-heuristics. Knowledgement in stochastic programming is highly
desirable. The candidate is expected to interact with other members
of the project including, masters and PhD students, and professors.
Fellowship:
The post-doctoral fellowship includes a monthly stipend of R$ 7.373,10
(about USD 1,900 and EU$ 1,700), access to the health-care system of
