[DMANET] PhD Position in Theoretical Computer Science at Linköping university (extended deadline)

Linköping University advertises one (1) position as PhD student in theoretical computer science. The PhD student will join a research project situated in the intersection of computational complexity, universal algebra, and artificial intelligence, under supervision of Victor Lagerkvist (victor.lagerkvist@liu.se). In short, the task is to construct fast algorithms for hard combinatorial problems and to push these algorithmic ideas as far as possible by expanding the universal algebraic toolbox based on the presence of certain partial symmetries. However, the precise topic admits a great deal of flexibility, and there is room for both algorithmically and more algebraically oriented students.

The application deadline has been extended to March 11. For further information visit https://www.ida.liu.se/labs/tcslab/phd-project-2024.en.shtml. Informal inquiries and questions are welcome (victor.lagerkvist@liu.se).
